Can You Help?

Do you have room in your family for our 2 sweet kitties?

They’re approximately 5 years old

They’ve been spayed / neutered & declawed

They’re used to being around kids

Heidi-Mo
ginger tabby

Heidi-Mo (who is a boy) was named by my then three year-old daughter. She believed that “Heidi-mo!” is what people yelled as they jumped off something high. So really ‘Heidi-Mo’ should have been named ‘Geronimo,’ but I didn’t have the heart to correct her.

Heidi-Mo has been subjected to all sorts of kitty indignities including being dressed as a princess, dressed as a dragon, covered in glitter, covered in stickers, and harnessed to a little wagon – horse style. He purred through everything. He likes to give withering looks, but even after I extracted him from the harness, pulled off the stickers, and removed his tutu, he always went back for more. Given proper motivation, he’ll even fetch. Heidi-Mo is like a crotchety old man who secretly loves kids.

Josephine
Siamese / tabby mix

Josephine was dumped, along with the rest of her litter, in an elementary school parking lot long before they should have even been weaned from their mother. She’s perfectly physically healthy, but is pretty emotionally needy. If you’d like a kitty to curl up on your lap while you read or watch tv, Josephine is your man.

She’s timid at first and might hide in a quiet room if there’s a lot going on. But once things settle down, she will come looking for love. She’s sometimes put off by rowdy behavior, but as long as they’re sitting still and quiet, Josephine will accept love from even the youngest admirer. She loves to have her head scratched.

Josephine is so eager to please that she will usually come when called and follow you around. She just wants love.
Kitties are currently located in Staunton, VA.
